Ok, so here’s the thing.
There are certain links throughout Made of Moxie that are affiliate links. You will be notified when the post contains these links by the words… ‘this post contains affiliate links’. This just means that when you click on said link and perhaps buy the product, that I get a few penny’s my way to contribute to my adventure fund (or more realistically, my netflix account fees).
But to be clear, my kickback is at no cost to you. You do not pay extra when you buy through an affiliate link. It’s just what the company (eg. Amazon) decides to treat me, for recommending a product on their site.
Having said that… please know that I will never sell my soul for a couple of pennies. Your trust is more important to me. And so, I don’t recommend anything that I don’t fully wholeheartedly believe in, or in order to make the big dogs like me. I will not endorse anything I don’t love or use myself. You’ll only find honest advice based on my experience on Made of Moxie.
To be honest, I would rather make money doing what I love – which is to write and travel and create cool products and to live a full life – which is why I don’t have ads on my site. It’s also important to me that you, the reader, enjoy the experience of being on the site. Mi casa es tu casa and all. Having affiliate links is just a small way to get a lil somethin’ somethin’ for what I would’ve linked to anyway, without commission. So, it kinda makes sense, right?
Anyways, I fully thank you, if you’ve clicked through to any of my affiliate links and bought a product on the other side. I hope the product or service serves you well. If not, please let me know and I’ll be sure to reconsider that recommendation.
For my Amazon affiliate links, I’m legally obliged to state that I, Megan Wancer of Made of Moxie (and of sound mind and judgement), am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon EU Associates Programme, designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to amazon.co.uk and amazon.com and affiliated sites.
Thanks for understanding.
